Welcome to Seen in St. Louis
Posted by seeninstl on May 1, 2008We recently arrived in the city and have some plans to celebrate it right. There is so much going on downtown, and this blog is our way of sharing our thoughts and ideas about and involvement with St. Louis’s downtown renaissance.
Topics we are interested in and plan to write about include urban walkability as opposed to suburban unwalkability, new business and community developments downtown, upcoming community events, volunteers opportunities, social issues specific to downtown including homelessness, public education, free adult education, building demolition and construction, etc etc.
We even aim to photoblog some of the amazing and quirky sights we have seen during our morning and evening walks around the downtown area. When we are feeling adventurous, we might even chime in about developments in a couple of the nearby neighborhoods to downtown, including the Central West End, University City, and the Soulard Neighborhood. But for the most part, our ramblings focus on downtown St. Louis.
